Program Details:
The Farm & Nature Camp for Kids
Days: Monday-Thursday
Time: 9:00am-3:00pm
Ages: 6- 10 years old
Dates: Session 1: June 9th-12th, 2025
Session 2: June 16th-19th, 2025

Location: Light Root Community Farm, 7715 Arapahoe Road Boulder, CO 80303
Farm & Nature Campallows kids to explore the magic of Mother Earth by participating in meaningful work and learning practical skills, while also developing a relationship with the land, the plants, and the animals on the farm.
Kids will be immersed in the work and rhythms of farm life, including daily care of animals, cow milking, butter making, collecting eggs, garden activities, vegetable harvest and food preparation, as well as nature exploration, practical skills, and outdoor games!

Agrarian Earth Stewardsprogram is designed for young teens interested in agroecology, land stewardship, and practical skills of farming. Campers will be immersed into project and skill based learning through collaborative and educational work in the vegetable and medicinal herb gardens, working with livestock and draft animals, small building projects, and regenerative farm systems.
